Join our race night for benny have a fab time and raise some money to help make memories for this little man and his family.
During a recent holiday, it was noticed benny aged 5 wasn’t feeling well, so a trip to the local walk-in centre was in order. Following this visit they were told to go to King’s Lynn Hospital for a scan, on the way home. This scan revealed an issue and before they knew it, they were off to Addenbrookes Hospital for a further scan. After the CT and MRI scans Julie & Kevin were given the devastating news that Benny has DIPG (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma) . In other words, cancer of the brain stem. If he reacts well to the steroids to reduce the fluid around it then he will be able to have radiotherapy to try to slow down the growth.
Benny and his family our part of our family and we want to help with anything we can the ultimate goal is a dream trip to Euro disney.
We hope to see as many of you there as possible
