Diss Carnival 2025 Takes Flight with ‘Around Our World’ Theme!

Pack your bags, grab your passports, and get ready for an unforgettable journey—Diss Carnival Parade & Fun Day lands on Sunday 8th June, and this year, we’re soaring across the globe with the theme ‘Around Our World’!
From dazzling landmarks to cultural celebrations, we invite you to bring the world to life in our spectacular parade. Whether you’re inspired by the bright colours of Brazil’s carnival, the majesty of the Taj Mahal, or the romance of Paris, now’s your chance to showcase a country in the most creative way possible.
Who Can Join?
The answer is simple—everyone! Walk solo, travel with friends, family, colleagues, or even your four-legged pals. Have a big group? Decorate a float, trailer, or vehicle to really stand out! The bolder, the better—think costumes, props, and flags from across the globe!
To ensure a vibrant and diverse procession, we’re doing things slightly different this year! We have provided a long list of countries on our entry form for participants to choose from. Each entrant will rank their top five preferences and we will allocate each entrant a country to prevent a duplication of floats.
Showcase your chosen country in any way you like—through its iconic films, TV shows, landmarks, festivals, events, or holiday destinations. Get creative and bring your theme to life!
How to Enter the Parade
It’s free to join, so there’s no excuse to miss out! Simply download an application form from www.diss.gov.uk/diss-carnival or a hard copy from the Town Council Offices, fill in your details and send it our way.
Want a Stall at the Fun Day?
Whether you’re a food vendor, crafter, activity provider, business or local charity—we’d love to have you at our Fun Day! Fill in our application form and return to us by 7th March for a chance to have a pitch.
