Diss Town Council is seeking a temporary part-time member to join its administrative team.

Administrative / Marketing Assistant (Part-time, Temporary 1 Year Maternity Cover)

You will be able to work as part of a small, friendly team as well as independently and preferably have some experience of working in an administrative / marketing position.

The Town Council Offices are exceptionally busy, with the tasks being many and varied. As one of three Administrative Assistants supporting the Deputy Town Clerk and Town Clerk, you will be required to undertake a wide range of clerical duties requiring initiative and a high standard of IT skills and organisation.

The secondary focus of the role is marketing and communications which requires creativity, excellent communications skills and attention to detail. The role will also require regular face to face contact with the public, which requires a professional approach.

21 hours per week – £9.55 per hour
