It was an absolute delight to be invited by Gary & Madeline Alexander to take part in the naming of the spider art installation created by local artist Andy Harland.

Section 106 was allocated to finance the cost of the spider and the play equipment. Was a great event and the weather held out too!

Here I am standing next to The Webster- Aranha Spider of Fair Green.

David Whatley provided his interpretation of a bluebottle created in various metals- astounding!

Writing a name suggestion for the spider!

It was lovely to catch up with ex District Cllr Tony Palmer

I was persuaded to have my face painted by Sheila, who had one of the stalls at the event

With the Chair of Diss Town Youth Council, Kieran Murphy

With Madeleine, one of the event organisers

I had a cupcake with Suzanne Kayne who also had a stall at the event
