Pilates in the park returns for its third consecutive year on Saturday 1st June 2019. As always the class will be held in Diss Park every sunny Saturday morning 10.00am-11.00am and will continue through until 10th August.
Pilates in the Park is an accessible and affordable way to experience Pilates and involve the whole family. The sessions are suitable for all ages and abilities and I am always happy to adapt exercises for those who made it due to injury or health conditions.
The sessions are run right in front of the children’s play area which means parents can still keep an eye on the kids if they would rather play then participate, prams and buggies are also fine to bring along and have by the mat on the chance that baby will sleep through the hour.
Pilates is a brilliant way to strengthen and lengthen muscle, protect the back and promote better mental wellbeing.
The aspect of Pilates in the Park I love the most is the sense of community it brings to Diss, people from all ages coming together enjoying the fresh air and sunshine and usually enjoying a coffee and a natter after (and possibly a slice of cake)
If you would like to join us for the sessions all you need is £4, a towel and/or mat, water and sun cream.
Booking is not required but if you would like any more information on Pilates in the Park (or pilates in general) please feel free to contact Miranda Tuddenham on 07540696167 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
