King of the Cup 2019: Callum’s Year
The countdown has begun, in less than 6 weeks will a new King will be crowned or can Ryan Halil do what no man has done before and successfully retain the title?
As you all know King of the Cup isn’t just about football and beers, it’s become an annual fundraiser for a local, worthy cause.
This year we will be raising money for 13 year old Callum Doe and his family from Diss. On Christmas eve Callum was admitted to Addenbrookes hospital and after numerous scans the doctors discovered a tumour in his brain. He had surgery on the 28th December to remove what they could. Our goal is to raise as much money as we can to help Callum visit a few places from his wish list, like trips to London, Lego Land, Chessington and Gt Yarmouth for a weekend. Callum has a long road ahead of him so we want him to have things he can look forward to.
As always we will have the bar, bouncy castles, BBQ, DJ, raffle, Junior KOTC (free entry) and of course the main KOTC tournament which is £10 to enter.
Please share this and invite your friends. Start spreading the word.
