I was invited by the family and Friends of Clare Mackmin, to attend a charity football match in her memory. Clare died in 2017, battling epilepsy and the football match will raise money for The Epilepsy Society. I met the two teams Clare’s XI and  Glaxing Vision prior to the start of they game and shook their hands.
The match was won by the Glazing Vision by 4 goals to 3. I was given the honour of presenting both teams with medals and the winners a lovely trophy.

Clare’s Match will take place next year and is open to all in the community to attend. An event that is  well worth attending to commemorate this phenomenal woman and to raise funds to continue the great work that The Epilepsy Society provides.
