Diss Town Council has continued to receive correspondence regarding the flags installed on street furniture in Diss, further to our first press release issued on 3rd September. Diss Town Council is committed to supporting the welcoming and inclusive nature of our town.

Diss Town Council, together with the Royal British Legion, warmly invites residents to take part in this year’s Remembrance Sunday commemorations.

It has been a busy and rewarding summer, working alongside residents, schools, and local organisations to celebrate and support our town.

Like Norfolk County Council, Diss Town Council has not authorised the installation of these flags, and, albeit on a much smaller scale, our resources are also committed to essential maintenance activities.
